GW from Wachovia CO

Anybody have any luck with GW from Wachovia?...Got a CO that they keep reaging because it gets sold to diffent CA's that keep reporting as new

Re-aging is illegal because it changes the DOFD. If a new CA acquires the debt it can be reported as a new collection, however the DOFD will not change.

How is it being reported on your CR? Is only one CA reporting it?

OC Wachovia (from overdraft checking acct) is reporting $0 bal (12/07) sold to another creditor. The new CA is reporting $233 balance 1/08.

The original CO $899 was in 1/05 and was only being reported as CO from Wachovia w/ balance but the original CA was taking pmts from me until 6/06 until I stopped paying them because they would not PFD when the balance was down to $233.

Now new CA RJM bought the debt and is reporting to the bureau's

RJM bought these Wachovia CO's

RJM is PFD friendly-

The old CA should be removed.

The old CA is not reporting. I called RJM last week and they were going to send me paperwork for settlement and removal...still waiting~

Hoping Wachovia will remove once paid!

Wachovia deleted my brothers- cost him 27 points.
