Hi All - A few quick questions. I need to send 3 goodwill letters. 2 for car loan charge offs (sort of a goodwill letter; but also a proposal to try to settle); and 1 for a paid collection. I don't have the full account #'s for the 2 car loans (Chase & GM Financial). My credit reports only give a partial account # and they are old enough that I no longer have any record of them. Can I send them referencing the partial acct #? Should I include my social so they can locate the account? I know the boards recommend sending to the address on the CR; but should I make it out to a particular job title or just send it and see what happens? If anyone has had good luck with either GM or Chase and have a contact suggestion, feel free to inbox me. Thanks!
