Re: HELP

I am not surprised if your score is lingering, as with no active revolving credit, a major factor in your FICO risk analysis is absent.

Not only for now, but into the rebuilding future, you need to show use of discretionary, revolving credit.

Your credit mix, which is 10% of scoring, is now absent the most important element.

Re: HELP

I applied for the Cap One Secured card, in your experiences within 6 months would I see a significant increase in scores if I keep the util at less than 30%?

Re: HELP

Keep util under 9% and use it each month. From what I'm reading, and at your score level you should see 40-50 pt increase in that time as long as you pay other items on time and dont have hard pulls.

Starting Score: EQ 551 TU 548 CK 607on 6/8/12, EX 542(AMEX pull 3/4/12)
Current Score: EQ 808 TU --- EX --- CK 804(FAKO-EX 821, EQ 823, TU 803)
Goal Score: 750
