Hello board,
I had a HSBC card that I paid off some years ago after a charge off. The status of the card is "Payment after charge off/collection. TU/ex is not reporting anything under the 24-month payment. EQ is reporting the 24 month history as "okay". It is showing no balance.
Payment status:
Experian - account transferred to another office
EQuifax - bad debt & placed for collection & Skip
TU - Payment after charge off/collection
Question: what can I do about this? This was back in 2003. Any ideas would be helpful. I disputed this with TU and it came back dispute resolved: customer disagrees. EQ - Consumer disputes reinvestigation in progress and EX - transferred to another lender or claim purchased.
Any help would be most appreciated.
