In reviewing my reports today, I just noticed something hokey....
I had a card with HSBC/Furniture Row. It was paid (settled) in 2/2011. My report clearly shows the closed date of 2/2011, yet shows 30 and 60 day lates in 5 and 6/2011. AND shows as CO on 1/2013.
Advice on what steps to take?
Thanks in advance!
I would send a direct dispute to the OC and point out their errors. If it was paid by settlement, it is paid and they can no longer say you are late nor can they CO the account.
Thanks. With the OC being HSBC, should I use the old address on my statements, or should I just send directly to Capital One, in your opinion?
I would send one to both just to cover your bases. Do you need the template?
That would be great! Thanks ![]()
