I never got the chance to that you for the wonderful help I recieved on this board. I sent 3 HIPPA letters last week and recieved correspondence that they were deleting the files from all 3 bureaus. So being Miss Impatient, I subscribed to TC and noticed that they were indeed gone. I would have had to wait 5 more years for those debts to fall off if it weren't for the help of you two and the board in general.
I know you have heard this many times but on behalf of my family I would like to say THANK YOU

Do you mind telling us a little? Was this in response to the hipaa letter to the OC? Hospital or CA? I have one lousy paid CA on my report and they are being very difficult. It seems like more people have success with hospitals than other medical...who knows.

I did not pay them because I noticed on my CR's they listed the name of the facility and HappyDays advised me that it was a violation of my privacy for those to be shown on my reports. Well, I signed up for TC and they magically disappeared. I got nervous and just as I was about to call I looked in the mail box and saw that they were ceasing all collection efforts. There were 2 75.00 copays and another for my in patient maternity copay of 250.00... ALL DELETED thanks to HappyDays and her wisdom
