I work in the oil field and when the BP mess happened my life was turned upside down, I was able to work with all my creditors except what used to be GEMB now known as GECRB/Chevron.
It says it was sold to a CA but I haven't been contacted by any yet.
The CO happened in Feb 2011, they excepted 4 payments 3,4,5,6 of 2011 and decided they didn't want to keep the account, I was making payments to pay it off since it was closed but I guess I wasn't paying it off fast enough for them.
They are reporting it as CO 7,8,9,10,11 and 12 of 2011 but OK in Jan thru May of 2012.
I know I owe the money and would really rather take care of it through them but I know since it has been sold that will not be possible.
Does anyone have a contact number, address or email of someone I can ask about this account?
Do you think it would be possible that since is was really a true hardship that I could ge tthis account removed?
Any help anyone can give me I would deeply appreciate it.
