How To Raise Experian Score

How can I raise my Experian credit score? All of my other scores are about 70 points higher. I do have collections that are set to fall off in 2026. I pay everything else as soon as I use the card or account.

Re: How To Raise Experian Score

That seems to be a pretty significant difference in scores, if they're all FICO 8 scores. It would indicate there is something different being reported in comparison to EQ and TU. Are the collections being reported only on EX?

Do your statements always reflect a zero balance?

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

The Experian score is the only Fico 8 score the rest are regular scores. The collections appear on all 3 reports.

Then you arer getting hit with what is known as an "All-Zero" (AZ) penalty; if you want your scores higher, always let one card report a trivial balance of say $20.

Then the other scores are irrelevant; the odds of your other FICO 8 scores being similar to your Experian score are extremely high.

To answer your question:  If you can't pay for delete then....Wait it out until Fall 2026.  Until your collections are gone all you can do is NOT get anymore derogs and concentrate on positive credit behavior.  Those two things will earn you a few pts. here and there SLOWLY  but really the big thing is when that very last collection (last derog/negative item as well) is gone from your credit reports,  your scores are gonna jump into the "Good-Excellent" category.

Have you tried to pfd? (pay for delete)
