I recently asked for EE fromTransunion in December of 2024 they immediatley removed 4 accounts and my Vantage 3 score went from 631 to 677 in a matter of days. January 1st of 2025 I asked for another EE from Transunion and they removed 6 accounts and my Vantage 3 score jumped up to 729. So, not having enough patients to wait for 3 month EE with Experian due to seeing my score increased so quickly. I asked for EE with Experian in December of 2024 for the 3 accounts. Two of the accounts are due to fall off in 4/25 and the other one in 3/25. They denied the first two and I am waiting on the results from the last one which is going to fall off in March. So with all of that being said how aggressive should be? I know I made a mistake by asking for the ones in April to be excluded early. I do have a plan now in which I went through each credit bureau and have the exact months when I can asked. I have a total of 11 for Experian in which if I asked for EE I will be done by June of this year. Then for Equifax I have 10 and I will be done by July of this year.
1. Should I spread it out to the end of the year?
2. Does it matter if I simultaneously do each bureau when its time?
Sorry for the long post. I hope it make since. I only have one more from Transunion to remove.
I am so grateful for this forum it has help me tremendously.
From what I've read in the MF forums you should probably steer clear of requesting anything from EQ or risk a result that goes haywire..
I would wait until you are inside 3 months to ask Experian and as @GreatLife mentioned don't even bother with Equifax.
There's nothing wrong with asking for EEs on whatever amount of accounts are eligible, as long as they're within the allowable window in accordance with each burea's policy on EE. While I was successful getting an EE on a single 30 day late from EQ... it was a mess in which a CSR tried telling me the fall of date had changed to an additional 7 years later!
It took me finally being able to reach a competent supervisor to get it corrected, and done. Being they'll only do 30 days early, I'd leave EQ alone to fall off on their own. You've waited this long, another 30 days won't break you.
