I have seen many comments on threads about "FICO shows this item hurts my scrore the most" or making reference to a report that shows what is the most damaging to their scores...
What shows this and how can I find what is affecting my score the most?
I have Scorewatch and I have USAA 3-in-1 reports per month.
I could be wrong but I think you get those with the reports from the CRAs.
Honestly, some of those reports are not useful. I would go by this instead:
http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Rebuilding-Your-Credit/Your-Guide-to-Credit-Scoring/m-p/718550#U7185... (longer version/explanations here)
How is my score calculated?
-35% Payment History.
-30% Utilization.
-15% Established History.
-10% Inquiries.
-10% Mix of Credit.
I have USAA as well and some of the "Factors affecting credit score" stuff is ridiculous. Example: Mine says I got dinged for having three or more installment loans; not necessarily problematic in terms of my FICO score. Some of that information is just not helpful.
I was looking more for what accounts weigh your score down the most. Like some people seem to have a way, some report or something, showing them which collections, TL's are the worst for their scores....
???

Not really.
For the most part the thing OP's talking about is what you get when you by a powescore from here (myFICO). You get factors that help and hurt your score list on them.
Ok. I wasn't too sure as I have only used the 3 - 1 from EQ.
