Before I understood the proper way to DV, I did a dispute through Transunion online.
TransUnion deleted the data, and so did Experian, and equifax (only one dispute). My credit reports all show one collection (unrelated, hoping to finalize a PFD next week)
This was the OC, and the CA, from both reports, so I really doubt its a coincidence, that they all dropped off 3 years early.
First off, I'm glad to see it gone, but is this standard practice? I though the credit monitoring agencies didn't share data with each other. Has anybody seen this happen before?
I am a bit disappointed that my score only went from 660-679. I thought a collection and a charge off would get me a lot more points than that. Maybe it will shoot up 40 points or so when I get the last charge off fixed.
