Next question is... What can be done if a CRA refuses to investigate because it has been previously investigated? What is the OC letter?
You must dispute the OC and if it comes back verified then you send the OC a letter (OC letter) requesting info.
If an OC is reporting accurate info and you keep disputing it.......it will only hurt you if it is a baddies
If the info is not accurate....then you send the OC letter (an OC does not have to answer unless you have disputed)
When the CRAs refuse to open a new disputed ( Be sure that your complaint is with the CRA and not the OC or CA)
The CRA is a go between with us & creditors...........so if you dispute & the creditor verifies then your problem is with the creditor NOT the CRA
If the CRA refuse to open a dispute and you have sent them proof that the account is not accurate....then you send a MOV........after they answer or you receive a form letter then you send a ITS letter...............this is a last resort....and you need to be ready to follow through.
If you keep disputing and have no proof or a paper trail the CRA can refuse to open a dispute
It is against the law to threaten to sue & you have no intention of doing it!
