I have had a NFCU nRewards secured card for some time now, was just approved for a Discover secured and am looking for a third with perhaps one of the Credit Unions I am a member of. Looking for personal experience, data points.
Member of the following for some time, no lending history as yet. Again, looking for secured cards...
Apple FCU (seems like a likely approval after a chat) TU
Elements Financial FCU (Calls with them have indicated a good chance) EQ
DCU (I am thinking denial) EQ
NASA FCU (same as DCU) EX
PenFed (not even going to try) EQ
Unify FCU (New member, seems like they would have me) EX
SDFCU: They denied me mebership..it seems harder to get in that to get the secured card
Cap1 and City are not options at this point and would prefer a CU anyway. Any ideas would be appreciated as I don't want to blow a bunch of Inquiries.

Discover Secured (1k, 0 balance) Openened 10-18, not reporting yet)
Derog's:
3 collections and several charge offs, 4.75 years old. Perfect payment history for 2 years with NFCU card
Scratch Unify for now... I thought I was in but was denied after they took the $25 deposit (which they ACH'ed right back. They claim they could not identify me. Same deal with SDFCU... come on into a branch...
No ideas on the rest? I would prefer to not do a secured card app spree!
