alot of these secured cards are like applying for a unsecured card you get denied. But i need one more secured card have came to the decision merrick bank or opeen sk
Merrick scc-im really leaning towards the merrick bank scc but afraid of not getting approve.. In only found little information on the forums about ppl getting approve and some getting denied
Open sky ssc- only reason why i mention this scc is because they do not do a credit check from my research
Once i get another secured card not applying for no more..Currently have a cap 1 plat unsecured card and a first progress scc on the way
I tell you this rebuilding progress really suck i once upon of time had a decease credit score 650 but drop rapidly cause couldnt making payments on time on cc's due to having a baby and taking care of my family off of my 1 income and waiting for my girl to finish school, also trying to pay rent and just everything else etc. But imma keep going to i see the light at the end of the tunnel.

EMV Savings Secured Visa Platinum Card
This is the perfect card to establish or rebuild your credit with the comfort of having funds secured by your Regular Share Savings Account. This card works like a credit card, but is available for lower limits. Simply deposit the amount you want on the card into your savings account, and apply for your card. Plus, your money will earn interest in your savings account.
Features & Benefits
If left with only those 2 choices I say Merrick only becuase Open Sky doesn't offer unsecured cards.
I applied and was approved for this card at the beginning of the month. Everything you listed in correct except that it is a minimum $300 deposit into a share savings account.
SDFU IS SLOW......It is going on 3 weeks now and I have not received the card, nor has it reported to the bureaus. The Visa card number is on my homepage, along with the checking and saving accounts i opened, but where is the card...where is the reporting???? What is the hold-up...geesh....
Thanks for the update on SDFCU
I couldnt find any information on ability to add funds to the CC to increase the CL. Now that you have joined can you give any insight?
