I know many people have had Midland fall off their creidt reports this week. Has anyone had a settled Midland collection come off their CR?

I had a settled account come off after extreme badgering...I called, sent emails and letters for months and the account (an old verizon wireless bill) came off of EX and EQ, but still remains on TU!  

Best of luck GW them...I filed complaints to BBB and another agency with no avail. Don't give up!!!

I know a lot of midland collections are coming off because of the lawsuit, just wondering if they are newer ones or ones that have been around awhile.

I settled mine about 2 mos ago, but I believe Midland acquired my account about 2 years ago.

OK I am pretty much a newbie here. But What lawsuit are you talking about?

I've been bugging midland for 6mo. Letter after letter, complaint after complaint. I call them often. I'm hoping they eventually just get sick of me. I literally despise them with every ounce of my being and at this point I have nothing better to do than bug them for the next 4 years. Lol
