My first ever Midland letter

So while cleaning up my reports, I disputed an entry from Midland for $745 for a T mobile bill. The entry was removed from all 3 reports. Fast forward 2months. Saturday I get a notice of a one time settlement offer for $102, also containing the verbiage about how they cannot sue me or report due to the age of the debt. But they will report unpaid amount as earnings to the IRS, blah blah yadda. At this point I'm not really sure how to respond, but I know I need to. Any recommendations? I paid this in full when I closed the account, but no longer have proof because it was so long ago. T mobile claims its been so long my account has been purged. So...now what

Debt Validation to Collection Agency and if on credit reports, dispute "please validate these accounts, this account was settled with the original creditor"

i know now there's a way since TMobile has no record anymore AND you've satisfied this debt in the past.

Also, this sounds like a Zombie Debt. Milking the cow.

Wait for others to post.
