It says MyFICO Advanced updates everything every 3 months. Will scores update if anything is detected in the interim? Or will everything, reports and scores, stay stagnant until the 3 months are up?

AFAIK
you should continue to get FICO 8 score updates based on various changes (triggers) seen on your credit report
but you won't get new reports or any other score changes until your 3 month update time when you are allowed to pull 3 full brand new reports
