Need Advise ASAP about Credit Collection

Hi!

So over a month ago, I made a verbal agreement with Southwest Credit to pay a bill for TMobile. He offered me half of the debt owed. I specificially asked the guy if I make the payment will they show it as paid in full and not settled in full. He said that because I was a valued customer blah blah they will take half the debt and it will be listed as paid in full. I got a letter from them after 3 payments paid off the debt stating that the debt was "settled in full"!!

I emailed them to have them  pull the call. I just got a response back stating that they pulled the call and that their rep said it would be settled in full. Which is a bunch of bull!!

I have asked for a copy of the call.... I don't think I will get it. Can I at this time go back to my bank and dispute the 3 charges? Or what should I do? I'm just so upset because I clearly discussed with the agent how it would reflect on my credit report and told him I don't want it to show as settled!

Any advice would be helpful!

You can't dispute the valid bank charges. In the future get all settlements in writing before paying anything.

What's done is done. It's paid.
As another posted stated. Get it in writing.

My 1st suggestion would be a good will letter to the CEO of the agency.
If that doesn't work I would file a complaint with my Attorney General. Usually when the AG gets involved they will fold quickly and delete.
