Need Help Understanding My Credit Reporting

Signed up for CCT to see what was out there in way of scores and reporting after my Chapt7 Bankruptcy Discharge in March. Two things I am unclear of as I review the reports on there and worried they are impacting my scores:

Across the three reports noticed several accounts where two reports shows an account in Closed status and another Bureau states Open status for the same account. Some of these are accounts closed long before bankruptcy and others are accounts that were part of Bankruptcy.  Should I worry about this and file a dispute for each under the Bureau that reflects it Open on CCT reports?

Depending on the report, there are between 5 and 7 accounts showing Closed- Included in Bankruptcy status but also reflecting Negative pay status over several months prior to my bankruptcy.  Is it possible to dispute these to clear out the negative reports that show over about a years’ time leading up to my Filing?  All three Bureaus are not reflecting the same lates, just one or two of them, depending on the creditor, which makes me hope I can disptue and clear with the others but not sure.

Re: Need Help Understanding My Credit Reporting

A dispute is to get information corrected, not to require removal of accurate reporting.

Any debt discharged in BK is closed.  If it is not showing closed, that is a very minor issue, and a dispute would only apply to investigation and correction of that item.

It would not require deletion of any other information.

As for inconsistent reporting of delinquencies amongst the CRAs, that is common, and not considered an inaccuracy.

Provided the lates that are reported are accurate, lack of reporting with another CRA is not a basis for a dispute of accuracy.

Additionally, disputes of lack of consistent reporting of lates to each CRA will often resut in the creditor updating by then reporting each and every delinquency to each CRA, resulting the additon of more reported delinquencies.
