Boy, I wouldn't risk calling at this juncture. Though I understand the temptation to call to figure out what is going on and see if I could do anything about it before it gets even further. Have you read the stickie post "What should I Do" (or something like that) and you understand about debt validating and so on, it sounds like. I do believe we never admit in writing that it is our debt, we say things like I'll agree to pay this not as an admission but to resolve the matter kind of thing.
