I have a mess of my own creation. My capital one Auto. I have pretty good arguments for most of my other badies but this one is a bit weaker and the lates are far too recent for my liking. What happen was that I have had a payment arrangement with them for a 6 months. I thought I was paying everything and it the account was considered current. Well low and behold it wasnt. Thus when 6 month arrangement ended I got hit with 60 days late. I couldnt pay anymore on the account once I found this out and ended up being 30 days late for a couple months.
I finally have the account completely paid and on direct draft. What is the best way to handle these lates?

Yup, "please sir...can you help me for I am stupid." Anyone have successful contacts, strategies for Cap1 Auto? I'm thinking of waiting 3 months and having a little better history with them before going after GW letter.
