Need help getting AU accounts removed

Hey guys,

I have some AU accounts I want removed from my reports.

The first one is an AU account that's showing on all reports that I got through my job. The person says it's cancelled but it's still showing on all my reports and showing a pretty high balance. I don't want it on there any more.

the second is an account that my it's my mothers account and my dad is the AU. My dad and I have similar names. It's only showing on Experian and I called EX and they said they would get it removed but all they did was dispute it and Citibank verified it as accurate.

any advice would be appreciated.

if this is in the wrong forum please move for more exposure.

Re: Need help getting AU accounts removed

If you've already been removed from the account, and you very much want to make sure that you are removed (trust but verify - except the one with your father as the AU, of course), then you can just made the request to the CRAs to remove them stating that you were an authorized user, but no longer on the account.

The one with the mistaken identity is a bigger problem - if you furnished proof to the CRAs that the reporting is incorrect and they refuse to correct the issue, you can take the proof (and the request along with the denial or a copy of your report) and file a complaint with the CFPB.
