Need help to get a remark removed

I have a remark on my credit report that says redeemed repossession. How can I get this removed? It's really messing me up now

I had a car repo and I paid all the fees to get the car back and they still placed this remark on there. I have the car and pay for it monthly.

It's financed through US Bank. Any help anyone please?

Its legitimate reporting. The only recourse you have is to ask for "Goodwill" removal of the derog.

This is under my remarks for Toyota...
Redeemed or reinstated repossession

Is this bad? I did not have a car repossessed. It was traded in for another Toyota.

Even if you redeem a vehicle with a delinquency in the loan, it was still a repo, and reporting of a redeemed repo would be accurate.

If you "traded in" a vehicle when the loan was delinquent, then that would be a redeemed repo in that they accepted the turn-in of the vehicle as a reinstatement of the delinquent loan, then a payoff with the proceeds of the voluntary return of the vehicle.
