New TL Questions, Affect on CS?

Hello...

I have had nothing but installment credit for the last few years. After finding this forum, I realized that as I work to rebuild my credit, I need some revolving TL as well. I have applied and received two credit cards that report to CRA each month. Each has a low CL and I have kept the util under 9%....

I expect that they will report to the CRA around or about the first of the month (July). My question is this--will I see a jump in my score for each of the two new TL or will it be considered one since they are both new TL being added at the same time? Also, will I get additional points for keeping the utl under 9% or will I just see a slight increase because I have had two cards added.

Could my score decrease?

Thank you for your responses!

Adding those 2 revolving TL's is a great start. Since the revolving boost the score's the most, let's hope you see an immediate jump. If you keep them under 9% you will be fine. Since you have only added these 2, it's hard in your situation to only let half of your open TL's report a balance.(If your installments are open w/balances)  It's something to work towards later down the road.

Take good care of them and let them build some age  and you will see your score's improve!
