New collection for ancient debt..

So my last derog fell off a couple months ago. I'm 99% sure it is over the 7 year limit now but..

A couple days ago the same collection popped back onto all 3 of my reports under the name of a new collections company I have never heard of but the original creditor was DTE the same as the last one that fell off..
This new collection however is for about half the amount. I'm guessing they didn't tack the same late fees onto it or something..

It reports and says...

So how do I dispute this and get it off?
If I am going to dispute it based on the original date of delinquency how do I find out that date?

If you type in Jefferson Cap in the search field you will find many complaints about them. I had to go the BBB route to resolve the issue I had with them. They were reporting inaccurate information and after I paid the debt in full and they wouldn't correct this after calling numerous times. So i filed a claim with BBB and 2 weeks later the TL was completely removed from all 3 reports.

If that debt is more than 7.5 yrs past the Dofd then it cannot be reported. You can try calling DTE to get the Dofd
