Hello Everyone,
I am rebuilding and need some advice on next steps. Below is everything going on currently. I am thinking once my portfolio is removed and my Care is paid off I will apply for a Discover IT or Captial One Secured. Any advice is greatly appericated!

Portfolio-3,445 (Just made last payment so will be removed soon)
Medical Collections from McDonugh District Hospital sent to Collection professionals
Total-5,142 on 7 different accounts (1 is paid off now with a 0 balance)
Have a payment plan with them. Sadley, not for delet but I feel like paid collections are better then none!
State Collections Services(Medical Debt) -$75. (I need to pay this off I just never think about it until they are closed)
I'm not an expert and I'm sure someone with more knowledge and experience will chime in.
But here is what I would do regarding more credit if in your shoes.
Get a self lender account. This shows as an installment loan so gives more diversity than just credit cards.
I would add either a Discover or Cap 1 secured. First I would apply for unsecured and go unsecured if unsuccessful.
It is possible to get too many accounts too fast. I've opened about 17 in the last 15 months and it's holding my score back right now. Keep the accounts you have now in good standing and time will also help.
