No Revolving Credit to Revolving Credit

Hello,

I am new to this forum. I am already finding a wealth of information. How much would your FICO go up if you get CCs. I recently applied for the Crown Jewelers card and recieved a $2500 CL. I also plan on getting a secured CC from my credit union. I currently have no revolving credit.

According to myfico.com, I have the following:
Total past due: $330
Credit History: 9 Years
Revolving Accounts: 0
Mortgages: 0
Installment loans: $37,198
Total number of Accounts: 15
Accounts with balances: 3
Recent inquiry: 2
Collections: 4 (not paid)
Public records:0

FYI: I recently sent off DV letters. Thanks in advance. Smiley Happy

Re: No Revolving Credit to Revolving Credit

Because there is so much in play 24/7 with all of our accounts, that there is no way to know. Remember that your scores are made up of length of history along with adv.history,  revolving and installment accounts.  Installments only count for 10%  revolving about 30%

New cards are concidered new for 1 year. Keep them under 9% UTIL for best score results.

Crown Jewelers only report to EX and TU

You need CCs that report to all 3 CRAs.

You will get a better and faster on who & what CCC are better on the CC thread.
