Open Collection from "The Bureaus"

I'm working on getting my wife and my credit scores higher (main issue is utilization so that just takes $$$ lol)...anyways, she has a collection on her account that I know is valid.  The current collection agency seems to be The Bureaus, but when contacting them I'm routed to Delta Outsource Group.  Trying to call them and they have nobody available to answer the phone (which seems really odd for a collection agency lol).

We haven't gotten any letters from them in quite some time (probably at least a year) - last letter was from Sentry Credit (but lists Bureaus as current creditor).

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these guys?  Do they offer partial settlements, pay for delete, etc.?  It's not a huge amount ($500), and we can afford to pay it but just really want it off the report more than anything.  It's semi-recent (2016) so isn't going to disappear anytime soon.

The bureau does do PFD I don't know if you have to PIF or if you can settle.

Thanks for the link.  I did finally get in touch with someone at Delta Outsource and he indicated that Bureau doesn't PFD but I guess I'll see in the next couple of months.

They didn't have any offers available except for 10% off.  Better than nothing lol.  Just be good to at least not be getting any more letters or calls.

Well another collection agency can't tell you what the next one will and won't do. I looked it up and they definitely do PFD and a poster said they sent them an email saying they will delete in 30-45 days and that was from 2019 and that link is updated almost daily but anyways GOOD Luck to you and your wife.
