PFD 4 year old Ad Astra ?

Hey guys, I have 3 things in collections - $330 Speedy Cash ( Ad Astra ) / $130 ATT (ERC) / $120 Charter Communications (ERC)

My question is, the speedy cash I borrowed back in 2012 or so, I have no problem paying them $300 to get them the heck off my report! ( if it matters ) and that is what I am trying to figure out, do I pay this collection ? Or let it fall off.

The ATT and Charter ( ERC ) Both say around 2014, This is ALL from myFico 3B report.  But those 2 ( att & charter ) I have no recollection of them ? I have no problem paying them to get them the heck off my report..

Basically I am looking for advice on the next step. I can try and upload my 3B report if some one can show me how ?

Re: PFD 4 year old Ad Astra ?

Okay so with Ad Astra you can do a PFD and it should be removed within 30 days.

As for the other 2 if you want them removed and have no recollection of them you can file a dispute citing multiple inaccuracies as far as you know. Or you can pay them off.

The question is are you planning on apping for anything soon? (In the next month or two) If not play the slow game and dispute if you are planning on apping then pay them and make sure it's a PFD.

Ad Astra should fall off in 7 years or 2019 if DOFD is 2012.  Personlly, Id try first for a PFD.

Re: PFD 4 year old Ad Astra ?

Thanks for the replies guys. Not planning on an app spree or anything in the near future, maybe another credit card or 2 this year, but thats it. No forseeable loans or anything, maybe a used car next year, but right now just trying to make my Credit reflect me and my business as a more of a responsible person. My credit went through hell back in my early 20's with my ex wife. So now I own a couple businesses and tryign to really clean my stuff up is all. The ERC collections w ATT & Charter I dont remember, but the ammounts are so low I dont care, if a PFD is the easiest/quickest/best way, then so be it. I signed up for colletionshield360 just after i made this post, after finding another forum member finding success through them, so hopefully that will help.
