Re: PFD HELP collection not deleted...

OP it seems to me the CA has notified the 3 CRA to remove the derogatory information from your report. It can take time up for the CRA to update the information on your report. My best advice is to allow a little more time before taking additional action. You could send a letter to the CA reminding them of the agreement. I don't know of any pre-written letters on the forum. There is no way to tell how much your score will change after the derogs are gone.

Re: PFD HELP collection not deleted...

It takes time to have these deleted from the credit report.

I received a letter in writing on 6/21 stating a collection would be removed from all 3. One was removed yesterday (Equifax), and it's the only one so far.

It could take 30-45 days. I know that can be agonizing... But the hard work is done. This is the easy part now!

2009-10 - C/Os
2011 - Debts paid, no open credit
2012 - Rebuilding started, secured cards opened, SL rehabbed - EQ myFICO 636
2014 - 10k Discover, 3.5k Freedom, AmEx Green, SL, Auto Loan - EQ myFICO 695

If they dont delete and you have their promise in writing, a simple filing of a civil action for breach of contract should take care of it.

I would, however, give at least 30 days  before taking that route.
