I have 6 medical collections just from GLA, I would like to PFD starting with the smallest one and working my way up. However, I'm afraid if I send them a PFD for the little one, they will try to collect the entire balance I owe regardless of the fact that these are 6 different accounts from different times. Any advice on how not to open a can of worms? Or would I be okay just tackling these 1 at a time?
Google Hipaa process. For whatever reason, that topic can't be discussed on these boards.

I wasn't either. I have Googled it, but was just curious more about whether I should wait and PFD when I have the entire balance of all accounts combined or tackle them one-by-one (opinions?). Hence the not trying to open a can of worms thing. ![]()

Before doing anything else google the HIPAA Letter Process follow it exactly as laid out. If you have problems finding the website or any questions PM me.
