Re: PRA playing games

I thought you went to go drink a Coca-cola and enjoy life by the pool???  Whining, huh?  Says the person getting into their feelings.  Last I checked this was a message board and I was allowed to post threads just like the many other members here.  You are upset because someone doesn't agree with your line of thinking.  My credit doesn't affect you so I am unsure as to why you are taking this so personal.  Maybe you should have another coke and lighten up.  I will not respond to anymore of your posts and I ask that you kindly ignore mine.

When they wrote off my debt they did not suffer.  When they sold my debt, the original creditor made money so please tell me how the OC suffered in this instance?  Stealing?!! Ha!  Hmmm...I owed 5 other companies, which I recently paid but I just decided to say screw PRA, huh?  I'm such a picky thief.

So if someone steals a pair of shoes, but the business writes it off as a loss, you think that the person who stole the shoes hasn't done anything wrong?

Re: PRA playing games

@lowkeyorca I'm not sure if you read through the entire thread, but I said that I was willing to settle but none was offered.   While yes, the person has stolen and broken a law, the company will not suffer since the business has built in the cost for this.  I will suffer before the business does, so I apologize if my sympathy does not lay with them.

I read the whole thread. I just clearly have a much wider view of perception than you do.

I just don't understand how someone can spend money they don't have, and be righteous about how "shady" a debt collector is for not accepting less than what was borrowed.

If I lent you money, and I didn't pay it back, you could also file a bad debt tax deduction. Does that mean that if you don't agree to take less than what I owe you that you are in the wrong, and I'm in the right, because you were in a position to loan me money (and then recouped some of it at year end), while I was clearly willing to spend money I didn't have, regardless of what it was for?
