Hey, new to the forum and working on building up my credit in hopes to get a mortgage soon. I just sent my first two GW letters for some lates and am egerly awating a responce.
I've got 3 medical collections reporting, all have been paid, one of the years ago and the other two recently. One of them they won a judgement and the other I paid promply after I was served. I read about using the hipaa method to get these removed but it seems for that the original creditor has to be paid in full? Both of the CAs got paid in full, but I have no idea what, if anything, the OCs got.
Can anyone give me some advice on how I could proceed on these?
You'd have to google HIPAA because it can't be discussed here. You can try to GW them but years later it will be tough. But don't give up!
Darn, I was kind of worried about that but thanks. If anyone has any advice they'd be willing to share, please pm me!
I'll certainly do some more googling too though, I was just having a hard time finding info about this specific situation.
