Pay for delete Finally

One of my last collection accounts, just got the CA PFD in my hot little hands. Wrote the check and mailed it off feels good, I've been writing and writing to these people with no luck until now...

I've used my personal bank account to pay off some collections for delete and for a charge-off--is that bad?

They can't all of a sudden just take out random money, can they?

It has happened in the past.  That's why it is recommended not to send personal checks.  Or give them your debit card number.

I never have never will trust a CA with my personal checking info. Not even doing a PFD or PIF.
