Please Believe!

Hello Everyone, I just really wanted to say thank you! When I started my quest of credit repair last Feb 2009 I had EQ and TU scores of 550.  I was actually minutes away from bankruptcy cause I figured there was no hope for me. When I entered college I didn;t realize the importance of credit and I got credit cards and cell phones at acted foolishly. But this site helped me realize that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that with hard work and the right info you can clear your credit. So after PFD's GW's and rehabbing my student loan I got an alert today saying that my EQ fico is 776! I almost fainted lol.. I'm still waiting for my dispute to be complete for TU and EX (TU is now 709 but it still has to update for my student loan and EX I don't know) So to all of you that are rebuilding and praying for that day that you have Fair, to Good, to GREAT credit, that day could be here soon! And sooner then you think, good luck!

I urge you and others to do just that. You can't get what you don't ask for. If you keep getting turned down then just keep writing.

Re: Please Believe!

I had 3 CA 1 with Cingular for $300 (paid and they deleted) 1 with Hollywood Video (they closed that store and destroyed records so they had to delete for free!) 1 with a medical collection ( paid and deleted) had a horrible 85% util on my only credit card ($500 limit though so not bad at all to pay off, in fact I only kept a balance cause I thought it helped my credit lol) and a student loan in default reported twice (one original creditor 0 balance 120+ day late and the CA 120+ days past due and a car loan at 18% (ouch) that I never paid late  So if you add all that it equals 550 credit score but when you subtract those negs within a year it equals 767 EQ score and a 2007 BMW 530I at 1.9%!  Now my only problem is getting a credit card with an actual credit limit.. Mines suck there only at $500 and I had the **bleep** card for 7 years and have never been late Smiley Sad They wont even let me initiate a CL increase.. Capital one stinks! lol

Re: Please Believe!

Congrats!  I here you on not giving up and just trying your hardest to work hard on correcting years of neglect.  No matter how bad any of us have screwed up in the past with our credit, it can be fixed!  I am living proof.  In Oct. of 09' I had fair scores, 660's with 1 med collection (only showing on Experian--did not know it was even sent to collection) and about 9k in revolving debt.  Tryed PFD but didnt work, so I paid the collection off and GW'd it.  Got notification today that it was deleted and as of jan 10th 2010, paid off all revolving credit.  Only thing I have on there is an AU account (still in use) that my dad put me on when I was 7!!! lol.  That has obviously helped my score since I am 25 and have a 17 1/2 credit history.  I am now in the high 790's.  Don't give up guys!!   Now I just need to win lottery to pay off my student loans :-)
