Portfolio Recovery PFD reporting balance??

Anyone else have this issue? I settled an acct with the original balance being $3600. I settled for $2700, They said they would delete. 2 weeks later I get an alert that the collection updated to $900.00. Am I missing something in their procedures for deleting or did I just get screwed??? Dang!

Deep breath, this is normal and part of the process. These CA that do PFD normally first update with the amount paid then delete at the next update time.
