Pre-Qualified for Mission Lane Visa, yea or nay?

I'm making progress on my rebuild and I currently have the following CC's:

NFCU Secured Card $500 CL

Discover IT $2,000 CL (just graduated from secured this month)

Capital One Quicksilver $600 CL

Credit One $450 CL and a $99 annual fee

So it worthwhile to shoot for the Misson Lane Visa that I got an offer for in the mail which has no fees and promises a CLI after 6 months and say adios to the Credit One card?

I've never even heard of this Mission Lane Visa, is this a sign that I'm making progress? Thoughts on this overall?

You could actually say adios to the credit one account now. You will still be left with 3 revolving accounts and one of those is one of the most generous lenders around ( NFCU).

I would let this offer pass.

How long have the accounts you have been opened for ?

Nay. I would say shred that offer, close Credit One, and grow the other cards you already have.

Currently rebuilding as of 04/11/2019.

^^^this. More cards or credit doesnt mean higher scores. You only need 3 cards and an installment loan to kick start a rebuild. Then let time do its thing and let the scores rebound from getting the cards and then watch the scores go up as they age for at least a year. You got cards that will grow in time in a good way. So for now. Let your credit work for you. Not you working for credit. Happy Holidays!

I do not think you need Mission Lane. If you have had the card 3 months Navy will probably give you an unsecured card.

I had the Mission Lane card. They are little slow to credit payments imo. I had the one with the annual fee so I dropped it at 1 year because they refused to waive the fee. Overall a rebuilder could do worse. They did increase my limit as promised and there were no Credit One type Shenanigans. But as others have said, you do not need them.

Re: Pre-Qualified for Mission Lane Visa, yea or nay?

I have looked with interest and curiosity at Mission Lane and have come to the conclusion that it's a lot like the Cap 1 Platinum without the ability to product change or to "get in" with a bank with other more promising cards within their line.

Mission Lane is owned by Tab Bank (I have a checking and savings acct with them). They are okay, non-predatory, but I gather that they just have these two rebuilding cards (one without an annual fee and one with). There is no "there" there. If you didn't already have some pretty decent cards they might be worth a shot, but I think you're past the point of needing them.

Credit Karma (I know, I know!) says I have a very good to excellent chance to get approved, but for what? I already am "in" with Navy and have already seen how amazing Navy can be. Same with Discover. You're in the same boat as me. In no time at all your Navy card will likely graduate and then (as long as you treat Navy right—and I'm sure you will!) the floodgates will open.

Ive had mission lane for a few months now. Got it while my scores were in the high 500's. They arent a bad card so far.
