Question About Sears Credit Cards on Report

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and I have a question about this particular cards on my credit report:

SEARS/CBNA #****
PO BOX 6282
SIOUX FALLS, SD 57117-6282
(800) 917-7700
Date Opened: 12/16/2011
Responsibility: Individual Account
Account Type: Revolving Account
Loan Type: CREDIT CARD
Date Updated: 06/14/2014
Payment Received: $0
Pay Status: Current; Paid or Paying as
Agreed
Terms: Paid Monthly
Date Closed: 01/09/2013

There has not been any activity or balance to this account because the creditor never issued an actual credit card for this account and I didn't plan on using it at all. Can I send Sears a letter asking them to remove this card from my credit report?

>Maximum Delinquency of 30 days in 03/2012 for $3<
Credit Limit: Credit limit of $1,500 from 01/2012 to 03/2012; $1,500 from 05/2012 to 01/2013; $1,500 from 06/2014 to 06/2014

I have a second one that is also from Sears. This time, I have a high balance of $5 which I don't understand because the credit card limit is $1,500. I paid for this already a while ago and when I got another bill, they credited me back the amount that I paid the month before (i forgot how much exactly but I may still have a statement). Now, I have a $3 delinquency of 30 days. Can I dispute this as well or send them a letter to remove it?

Because both credit cards were not used and both were closed by the original creditor (SEARS/CBNA)

Any help will help. I'm trying to rebuild my credit score. Smiley Happy

Thanks!

Jill

Re: Question About Sears Credit Cards on Report

Send an explanation letter or email to CEO. If it's not going to work file a dispute with CB.
