If I have an account with the DOFD showing on 7/2002, how come it was taken off of TU and EX due to it being over 7 years to report?
If I am understanding you correctly, yes. Those a/cs fell off your CBRs because they are past CRTP. Well not exactly. CRTP is really 7.5 years from DOFD but sometimes they are removed earlier.

Ok, so I really cant dispute it. It may fall off in another 2-9 months?
FCRA only sets a maximum time something can report, not a minimum. The maximum is 7 1/2 years from DOFD. Sometimes these fall off at 7 years, sometimes before, sometimes at 7 1/2, and sometimes in between.
As long as it isn't past 7 1/2 years from DOFD, it is ok.
