Question on Debt Validation letter

I was wondering if I can send DV letters to the collection agencies, even if i havent received new correspondence from them, or send them directly to the credit beraus??

DVs are allowed by the FDCPA and that's only for CAs. By law a CA must give you notice on a debt. If you didn't get anything, then maybe you had moved, the letter got lost in the mail, etc. It wouldn't hurt to send a DV to the CA now, IMO. When I first started I had ignored everything from the CA (not recommended) and when I started repair I had plenty of CAs reporting. I sent DVs to all of them and all of them responded or deleted.
