Just received a letter from Credit Management L.P. today and I'm beyond excited. I had mailed them a PFD letter approximately 2 weeks ago for a $137 medical collection with an offer to pay in full. This was my only collection on Equifax and Experian so I'm looking forward to a nice score bump here shortly! I got the following response from them:
Dear Albacore,
Our office has reviewed the above-referenced account and we have made the decision to discontinue our collection efforts.
Rest assured that a deletion requestion will be submited to the credit bureaus for any information regarding the account that we reported to them.

I have to thank everyone on the forums because without the information presented here I would have never have even known about the process!
