You all have been a big help in my reuniting proces. Thank you!
The remaining big issues on my credit reports are student loans -- one with Nelnet, which was rehabilitated, but the bad tradeline still reports. The other with Citibank, never went into default, but has a few 90 day lates from when I couldn't pay. At the time I asked for a hardship deferment/forbearance to avoid having to pay late; Citibank denied every time. It was very upsetting.
I've been trying to "goodwill" both of these lenders. Nelnet sent a letter saying the report is accurate and would not be corrected; Citibank, though, is something special.
I don't want to give up on Citibank. But I'm out of points of contact. Does ANYONE have a good Citibank GW address, for student loans or corporate generally?
Thank you all
Gardening since May 2015I was in the same situation with 1 30 day late on a Citibank SL from 6 years ago. Unfortunately, I didn't have any success and have to wait about 1 more year for the account to fall off. Citibank was quite stubborn - I sent multiple GW letters.
Best of luck to you though!

Thanks! I just re-read my latest denial, and it actually gave the name and (605) number of the person who wrote it. I think it might be worth a call. Did you ever try to call them at a number like that? Any tips?

I can't say that I did. But it is worth a shot! Any luck?
