I spoke with a bankruptcy lawyer and because the business is technically profitable, they said they didnt feel comfortable with me filing and that I should continue to fight through it until im all the way back on my feet. today Chase closed all 4 of my cards with them. Im pretty sure amex is coming soon with boa to follow.
prior to my business, i had an 801, about 75k in available credit. i think im at a 515 now, but now have a business that some would deem "successful" or soon to be.
im not giving up, but ive also never been here before. paying off vendor debts for my biz next week and then will start on my credit cards.
how do i come back from this? ive been all cash everything for 2 months now and business is still chugging along. if i make consistent payments, even on my closed accounts, will i ever get back to + 600 at least?
Wa chew talk'in 'bout, Willis?
have you been financing your bib'ness with personal credit and not paying the bills?
Are the Chase cards past due, over limit or both?
You'll have to give us a little more to go on.
Yes, over time things will improve. BK attorney is likely right. With a profitable business that could be problematic with a BK.
