SOL Expired, worth doing PFD?

My wife had a great time in college and ran up her CCs, failed to pay them and ended up in collections. Both OC and CA are reporting, but the SOL expired. Whats the best approach here? How can I get these TL of her CR? If I do a PFD would that restart the cycle again? Im new at this need all the help! Thanks!!

CRTP is based on DOFD, which is set by the OC and never changes once the account has reached CO/collection status.

Have you DV'd yet? I would always send DV before PFD to make sure they have the debt.

Has the OC sold the accounts or just assigned them for collection?

Is the OC reporting a balance?

Making payments may restart SOL but as sidewinder said.....nothing restarts CRTP

Keep in mind that IF the CC were taken out in a different state...either state SOL could apply
