Score is dropping while trying to rebuild

Changed to "charged off" will not help your score.

No they are not changed, they are completely gone from my reports. They only that changed to current and good standing is my car financing.

That is your problem.

You are getting history deleted and dropping your average age of accounts.

I'd write a letter to the now-deleted credit cards or loans or whatever and ask that they put the closed account back on your reports in good standing.  OR (less risky), I'd start looking for revolving credit.

I would start trying to get a secured card or two.  I don't know if I would take the chance of them adding it back.  If they did not change it from a CO it is going to look new and really hurt your score.

You can try your bank for a secured CC.  Also Orchard has one.
