Scoring Weigh Scale Interpetation

On my Tu report On the scale where it weighs the bad with the good. My first bad one, which if I understand it correctly is counted the most and maybe serves as a ceiling is Public records. I have 2. 1 will drop by the end of next month and the next will drop by the end of Dec. If thats what is hurting the most Will I see a good increase when these drop or even though fico is supposed to be 7 years does it have a longer internal memory? I just figured if the PR's are 6y10mo and 6y11mo they wouldn't be hurting hardly at all. Am I wrong? The score now is 709.

Re: Scoring Weigh Scale Interpetation

They aren't severely affecting you, but you should see a few points when they fall off.

Re: Scoring Weigh Scale Interpetation

The affect of their dropoff on your FICO score will depend on many factors, but upon a manual review of your CR, the affect will be substantial, as they will no longer show.

You say upon a manual review, Does that mean that FICO (does) have a longer internal memory?

Re: Scoring Weigh Scale Interpetation

A manual reiew is where someone actually looks at your report vs automated scoring. Having or not having the judgement when a human is actually looking at your report can make a huge difference even though it might only be a few points to FICO.
