I had a secured self lender loan go 60 days then become closed and paid off in early 2018. I completely forgot about this account as my mother was actively dying of brain cancer those months.
The search algorithms on here and google dont pull up anything as "self" and "lender" are very common phrases.
Any guidance in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help as always community.
They changed their name https://www.self.inc/
Appears this is the bank behind them https://www.lead.bank/
Got ya. That still doesnt help, searching those common words is useless with search algorithms. I'll keep searching. Hopefully someone can chime in.
Anyone? I sent a general email to customer service but I know this usually isn't the best route. Was hoping to reach an executive or similar.
Im looking for the same thing. lmk if you find anything and i will as well
They were not helpful at all. In fact just referred me to Austin capital Bank instead. I even tweeted them.
I have been dealing with them for a couple years, in an attempt to get granted a late payment removal on an account from 2017. I'm always referred to Austin Capital, which only verifies repeatedly that the credit report is accurate and never addresses the GW request. Self aka Self Lender just refers me back to them. So, at this point, I don't know what to do with this account. It's odd how unresponsive they are, considering their nature of work (to help rebuild credit).

Yeah, same experience and thoughts here. I just don't understand it.
