I got a letter from creditor they will accept 20% for the settlement and will accept it as "full and final payment" . Does this mean it will be reported as paid in full ? Should I ask them to do PFD or remove the entire account from credit report as part of the settlement ?
Yes you can ask if they would PFD with the payment. Who is it? More than likely it will post as Paid/Settled for less than amount owed. But it will quit updating and go against your aggregate util percentage. Good Luck!
