I own a rental in Arizona. Last June my tenet moved out. She ruined the carpet in the living room. I spent $1500 replacing the flooring in that room. I kept her security deposit of $890. She took my to small claims court insisting that she was not at fault. The judge
decided that she was at fault but said I could not charge her for complete replacement cost because the original carpet was not new. So I paid her back part of here deposit as directed by the court. At that time my Fico score was 805. It is now down to 700 with this court case being the only reason why. Is there anything I can do to bring my score up where it should be?
