Definitely done buying things on credit! Absolutely done with handbags! I'm still learning to become more financially literate, even at this stage in my life. Thank you for responding!

Unfortunately the rep is incorrect about the lates coming off in 30-60 days, even if you quickly paid the account in full after it was reported - the damage has already been done. That said, you can try asking for GW (goodwill) removal of the lates (a completely separate process with no results guaranteed). But the lates are accurate, so if the GW request is denied, then Unfortunately you'll just have to wait out the 7 years. The good news is since they're only (and I use the term "only" loosely) 60 day lates, the sting/damage to your score will fade after a couple of years. As far as your Toyota late payment, definitely dispute it if its inaccurate and you have the proof that it is. That might help your scores some as well.
Anyway, it sounds like you've identified the problem and are taking steps to rectify the situation, so just stay strong, lock away, maybe even cut up ALL your cards until they're paid off/paid down significantly and your scores will rebound over time. Good luck! ![]()
Thank you so much for replying! I actually am writing up my letter now to Toyota and sending copies of my bank statements showing payments were made. When I called them, they said they couldn't see anything in regards to payments because it was from 2019.... does that sound right to you??? I asked her can she not see if a payment had been missed and she said she could not, that if i thought there was inaccurate info, to send a letter with the supporting documentation and they would look at it. In regards ti Affirm, It didn't sound believable, but of course I was hoping. They actually reported the lates as 30 days, not 60, so I was incorrect, but the damage is definitely done. I received 2 more emails last night about changes to my Experian report, showing the delinquency at zero instead of an open amount due. Not sure why, my Transunion wasn't updated with the same info. Is it better to have a delinquency show a zero balance than an outstanding balance?

Appears you have the proof you werent late. Yes its much better at 30 days late. After 2 yrs its down to hardly hurting your score. Yes its better to show a $0 balance than a balance.
Side note.
